Argh....the sleepyness....

We've been off for a week for Thanksgiving and Christmas break is coming up in two weeks. It's going to be a while to get back into the swing of things, especially today. It's really hard to stay focused on anything right now....

Still making up...

People are still trying to get caught up. We didn't get any work done yesterday since our teacher wasn't here and the internet was donw. We're about to start our Thanksgiving break as well so we're going to have a whole week  off. Our teacher is giving us our paper protypes to look at and refine over the break. It should be finished by the time I get back...

Game Synopsis

Our game is gonna be an action/adventure type of game. It's about current events such as the BP Oil Spill. We have made a character aka Bob the Rebuilder who in fact works on the construction site. He is to use his tape measure (grappling hook) to swing from pipe to pipe in order to retrieve the missing pieces to patch up the spewing oil. Along the way he is going to be defending himself against oil blob monsters. Various levels will have to be beaten until you rich the final stage which is a boss battle.
At the beginning of the game though we will have a select few choice questions before the game actually starts.
The arrow keys will be moving Bob and the left- click mouse button will shoot out the tape measure.

The most exciting thing that I'm looking foward too is all the drawing and animation that's going to have to be done.

Mondays....

It feels like forever ago since I've updated my blog. Today was a make up day for every one. Apparently some of use were lagging behind while others were ahead. We're taking time to back track to make sure that every one has everything they need filled out and every one is on the same task. I think class is going to be might be more stickt from today onward.

Today...bleh

After coming back from a nasty ear infection I am greeted to a not so good day at school. Globaloria was an up though. We entered our game into some kind of contest or something and we finally got a picture for your team up.

Team Pages

We were told that we're going to start making team pages today on our wikis today. I hope it's not too hard....my brain hurts.

Today...

This week we've been doing paper proto-types. We've pretty much finished ours except for some touch ups. Today picture day has interrupted our day and we're looking over a paper about our game.

Paper Prototype?

We were meant to start on this Friday, but our teacher didn't say anything about it so we're starting on it today. I'm a bit nervous about it, but I'm sure it's not going to be any where near as hard as the flash mini games we worked on for two weeks.
